The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Old Port district on Portland’s restored waterfront. As a distinguished member of the Historic Hotels of America, the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa was originally constructed in 1895 as a home for Maine’s National Guard.

All guestroom accommodations have their own private bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower combination, Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities and fluffy towels.

The Regency’s award winning restaurant, Twenty Milk Street excels at preparing seasonal dishes procured locally and served in a romantic, comfortable setting. Welcome the day with selections from Twenty Milk Street’s hearty and beautifully presented breakfast menu or complement your stay with a sumptuous evening meal. Lighter fare is available from the Armory Lounge  for lunch or dinner. In room dining is also offered from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm daily.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important while travelling. The Regency’s award-winning spa offers a variety of services to rejuvenate and relax. All guests have access to the modern, fully equipped fitness studio, sauna, steam rooms and Jacuzzi at no charge. Spa personnel are fully trained and certified to ensure you have the perfect experience.

We have reserved a block of rooms at a negotiated room rate of $145 (US currency) per night for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The rate is guaranteed for the block of rooms through Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Rates for reservations made after this date, or exceeding the number of rooms in the block contracted for, are based on availability.

When making reservations, guests should identify themselves as attendees of the Environmental, Health & Safety International Communications Conference. The reservation will be guaranteed to your credit card. The Portland Regency Hotel and Spa accepts all major credit cards.

If you are required to make reservations through your company’s corporate travel program, be sure to contact the Portland Regency Hotel and Spa to ensure you receive the discounted EHSCP rate. 

Note: Since the original registration package was issued, we were able to slightly increase the block of rooms at the original $145 rate. When that block is full, we were able to secure some additional rooms, but at a higher rate of $229 ($269 for Monday night). Please call Kristina Slocum directly at the Regency at (207) 221-5914 if you attempt to book after the block of rooms has been filled.

Check-in is available after 3:00 pm the day of arrival and check-out is 12:00 pm the day of departure. Late check-out may be accommodated by checking with the hotel staff.

Cancellation of reservations must be made 48 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid charges. No refunds for late arrivals, early departures or no shows if the hotel has not been notified 24 hours in advance.

Hotel parking is valet parking only. The parking rate is$12 per day (neighboring garages may be more expensive). Daily parking is $5.

The Portland Regency Hotel and Spa is certified by the State of Maine as an Environmental Leader in the hospitality industry. It uses traditional locks avoiding the waste generated by plastic keycards and their hybrid courtesy shuttle reduces usage of fossil fuels.
